Write for Us
Write for Blog
Blog is read by people who are making decisions about work: graduates looking for a first job, professionals weighing a move, recruiters filling a role, and managers building a team. They come here for plain answers, not theory. If you have something useful to say about hiring, job hunting or building a career, our readers will read it.
A contribution puts your name and your thinking in front of that audience. It stays online, it is indexed, and it keeps working for you long after publication. Many of our writers use a guest post here as the starting point for a longer relationship with us.
What we publish
- Job search tactics: applications, resumes, interviews, salary talks and offers.
- Career development: switching fields, promotions, skills, further study and mentoring.
- Hiring and recruitment: screening, interviews, onboarding and candidate experience.
- Workplace matters: remote and hybrid work, team culture, pay and employment terms.
- Industry outlooks: which roles are growing, what employers now ask for, where the demand sits.
- Practical guides for early-career readers: internships, first jobs and the mistakes worth avoiding.
Guest posts and sponsored articles
We accept two kinds of contribution. Editorial pieces are written by the author and judged on their own merit. Sponsored posts are paid placements, written to a brief agreed with us. Both are published permanently and indexed, and both are edited to our house style before they go live. Links in editorial pieces are dofollow. Sponsored posts are labelled as sponsored where the law or the platform requires it, and we will not remove that label to suit a client.
Pricing is available on request. Turnaround is normally three to five working days from an approved draft, though a busy week can add a day or two. If you want to submit an article under either arrangement, write to us first with your idea rather than sending a finished piece.
Guidelines
- Original and unpublished work. We do not republish anything that has appeared elsewhere, including on your own site.
- 800 words or more. Shorter pieces are considered only when the subject genuinely needs less.
- One or two relevant links. Links must add something for the reader, not simply point at a product or a homepage.
- No gambling, adult or pharmaceutical content. We also turn down anything that misleads job seekers.
- An author bio is optional. If you send one, keep it to two or three sentences.
- We edit for house style, spelling and length. We will not change your argument, and we will tell you if we plan to cut a section.
How to pitch
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Guest post: <topic>", for example "Guest post: how to answer a salary question". Include a short outline of what you plan to cover, roughly 100 to 150 words, and a link to one or two pieces you have written before. If you have not been published yet, say so and send a sample paragraph instead. We read every pitch and reply either way, usually within a week. Before you write, it is worth reading our contributor guidelines in full so that the draft does not come back with the same notes twice.
If you would like to write for us, the address is [email protected]. Pitches, drafts, questions about sponsored post rates and requests for our contributor guidelines all go to the same inbox: [email protected].
