A recent survey says that only 10% of employees define success at work as high performance. The 45% of the participants revealed that work life balance is their first priority, they define the work place success is enjoyment and happiness. Encouraging an employee career goals and objectives will definitely create a high performance culture that motivates individuals to do their best work. The survey found the number of employees who prefer work life balance is double than the number of employees who define success at work as high performance. Nearly 55% employees prefer work life balance in Europe, followed by 37% in Asia Pacific and 35% in North America. Overall, 26% of employees define success in the workplace as enjoyment/happiness, followed by salary (19%), doing the best work (18%), respect and recognition (15%) and high performance (10%).
