Recent survey mentioned that more than 70% employees feel that their workplace is not women friendly. Nearly 90 percent women professionals claimed that there is no gender equality in their organization when it comes to career progression, Promotions, opportunities for leadership roles, salary increase and incentive programs. While, the survey mentioned that female representation was rated as poor and other interesting fact is that 96 percent mentioned that they don’t have a female CEO. More than15 percent surveyed professionals mentioned that they have fun related activities at work like friendly working environment, special healthcare facilities, flexible work hours and support from team members to support work life balance. More than 30 percent women professionals mentioned that wellness initiatives at their organization. Over 65 percent women employees mentioned that flexible work options, parental leave, child care solutions, company culture and mentorship opportunities play great role in the long term association of the company. Among them, 55 per cent women professionals in the survey rated maternity leave provisions at their workplace as average and 35 per cent voted them as poor and just 10 per cent agreed that these provisions were good
More than 55% surveyed women mentioned that their co-workers are average and they have average maternity leave provisions at their work place. About 35 per cent said it was average and just 5 per cent noted it as good. Over 75 percent surveyed organization p employees mentioned that management opportunities provided by their company for women employees as poor. More than 75% women felt that they have poor learning opportunities and 70 percent mentioned that they have poor company representatives. Over 50 percent women employees satisfied with their current salaries and 10 percent rated as good. About 80 percent women professionals rated that they have poor mentorship programmes at their organization.
