In order to strengthen its campus hiring and young recruits, Vodafone India added six new campuses to its list across management, technology and engineering and legal schools this year. This academic year they were targeted to hire 160 management trainees from tier-1 business, technology and legal schools of India. Year on year they are increasing their presence in the campuses. Vodafone launched a management trainee programme named ‘Discover’, hired 440 fresh graduates through the programme who started their career as management trainees. The company offered pre placement offers to 57% interns who did their summer internship with them this year compared to 37% PPOs in 2014. Graduates are hired across the roles such as sales and marketing, HR, finance and accounts, CA, supply chain management, IT and technology driven roles in their network.
