Uber inks pact with Maharashtra government to create 75,000 jobs

Tax hailing app Uber collaborated with Maharashtra government to create 75000 jobs across the state. According to the MOU Uber will focus on training women and people from marginalized sectors of society. The MOU was designed by Uber through the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department (SDED) of the Maharashtra government. This initiation would train and provide 75,000 new job opportunities across Maharashtra over the next 5 years. This initiation will encourage and give women and persons from marginalized societies an opportunity to become micro-entrepreneurs.
