TCS, Infosys, Wipro lost over 1,00,000 employees in four quarters

India’s largest IT services companies TCS, Wipro and Infosys have lost over 100,000 people in last four quarters. Gross addition for the three combined stood at roughly 150,000, while net addition was between 40,000 to 50,000. Companies like Infosys are enjoying high growth rates and lower levels of attrition. It was noticed that in the latest quarter, Infosys lost 8,553 employees, with a net addition of 3,336 employees. TCS attrition levels are double to Infosys, losing nearly 15,000 people during the quarter, with a net addition of roughly 5,279 employees. Wipro lost nearly 12,500 people with net addition of a little over 3,000 employees.
