TCS automates part of 'Initial Learning Program', cuts training time by fifth

India’s largest IT services company Tata Consultancy services has automated part of its ‘Initial Learning Program’ and is using digital learning tools to identify high-performers at the learning stage. This move will help the company to reduce cost and training time effectively. This initiation will reduce the training time; the digital tools are saves the company $16 million annually. According to industry body Nasscom, IT firms spend an aggregate $2 billion in training annually and freshers can spend as much as three months on a course. TCS is practicing digital techniques to upgrade the skills of employees.
