Tata group is plans to train 5 lakh individuals. Tata is collaborated with Siemens in India to support skill development initiatives. At present they are offering training to 40000 individuals across the groups. Now onwards they will train 5 lakh every year. Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry said India has 10 million individuals, who have to come into the workforce and it is unthinkable how we can have all employed unless we have a strong vocational training. Make in India concentrates vocational training in the Manufacturing sector but it is also important to initiate training and development in multiple sectors including services, agriculture.
