Recent survey by manpower consultancy reveals that 44% of workers planning to change their jobs in expectation of high pay cheques due to better economic conditions. Eleven percent of the people have not decided anything and they will stay with their current employer or pursue another job. The best retention strategies to retain the top employees are employee recognition, flexible work schedules, Training opportunities and work benefits. Frequent recognition at work place and bonuses are definitely attracting the employees and feel that they are mean to the company. Due to the economic crisis many people left their jobs voluntarily with expectation of more pay benefits. This survey was conducted in January 2014 with 1000 employees from various industries and companies.
