SAP Labs India is launched an initiative named ‘Autism at Work’ to recruit the candidates with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). SAP is looking to hire 1% of its global workforce with the people affected by autism syndrome. Currently 10 people with ASD syndrome are working at SAP India labs and plan to hire 10 more candidates by the end of 2015. This special recruitment drive for autism will start in July and selected candidates will go for three month training program and placed in different profiles as development, functional testing, support and research. “Hiring people who are outside the mainstream is a reflection of our belief that a diverse and inclusive culture sparks more innovation and therefore helps us create value for ourselves and our customers,” said Head of HR, SAP India.
