Demand for talent in manufacturing sector is growing at 8-10 percent which is more at entry level. The impact of Make in India campaign is creating more job opportunities in the Manufacturing sector and estimated to bring growth in the country. Skills required for the engineers to work in manufacturing sector are different from other sectors. The functions of engineers in support services were more or less similar to the ones in other sectors. Mechanical engineers: The demand for mechanical engineers is there across the levels and roles. There is a huge demand for them across the levels at all times. Preference is for shop floor rolls such as steel melting shop, hot strip mill and cold rolled mill.
Electrical engineers: The demand for electrical engineers is there across the roles and levels. It was estimated to grow in future for the candidates with technical expertise.
