Over 65% employees say their workplace is flexible & fun

Recent survey by wisdomjobs.com found below interesting facts about work environment. The survey found that only 65 percent employees mentioned that their work place is fun and 45 percent mentioned that flexible work environment builds good workplace culture. Among them 61 percent mentioned that work culture in their office is open and 45 percent mentioned it as stressful. Jobs based on targets create more stress as compared to the target free jobs.

Over 95 percent employees from healthcare, manufacturing, and retail sector have open and fun work environment. More than 85 percent of IT sector employees said they have open and fun work environment. Besides, over 75 percent Automobile, BPO/ITes sector employees said they have stressful work environment. However more than 50 percent employees working in startups said they have open and fun work environment. On the flip side, over 50 percent employees mentioned that they have stressful work conditions.

Over 76 percent mid sized and large organization employees said that they have open and fun work environment. More than 45 percent employees would like to change their company only because of the work culture, on the flip side 58 percent they would not want to. The survey also found that, over 45 percent employees wanted a flexible work environment and more than 32 percent employees want openness to discuss with their boss. Besides, only 13 percent wanted freedom to innovate and idette. However, more than 90 employees said no to join a company with salary hike but a bad work culture, But 65 percent consider joining a company with salary hike but a bad work culture. Finally, 67 percent blamed the top management, 13 percent blamed their boss, 12 percent blamed the HR and 11 percent blamed their peers for bad work culture.
