Recent survey found some interesting facts that, more than half of Indian workers say they have gained weight in their current job. Over 32 percent said that they have gained more than 3 kgs and only 11 percent workers said that they’ve lost weight since working in their current positions. The reasons for overweight are work related stress, sleeplessness, tighten work schedules, healthy eating habits and exercise habits are noted. Experts believe that poor physical and mental health, work quality are important stay positive and healthy at work place. So, it’s important for employees to stay active and happy at work place by taking small meals and stretch exercises and walk around.
The survey was conducted among 100 employees across sectors and regions of India Inc. More than half of the employees mentioned that sedentary roles, exhaustion and time constraints are major obstacles to stay fit. Because of these facts many employees experinced change in their body structure and expanding waistline.
Over 60 percent mentioned that sitting at their desk for most of the day, 38 percent mentioned that they got no time after and before their work, 36 percent mentioned that they tired a lot to do exercise much after their work and 33 percent mentioned that it was due to eating out regularly.
The reasons mentioned for skipping meals, 35 percent said it was due to time constraint, 25 percent mentioned that they were eating much due to stress and 20 percent mentioned that they were in pressure to eat food co-workers bring in and 20 percent mentioned that they could not resist eating whenever they feel hungry.

Give priority to exercise as well as your office work.
Add movement to your daily routine. Communicate with each other personally avoid phone calls.
Stay away from fizzy drinks.
