Recent report mentioned that workers who engage with their jobs go the extra mile to be productive. An engaged employee is an asset to the organization, it increases quality and productivity. The report stated that only 20 percent of UAE employees, 30 percent Indian workforce and 23 percent of employees in Mexico engaged in their jobs. In terms global analysis, only 13 percent of workforce engaged to their employers. Experts believe that, stress at work, lack of career growth aspects, routine work, and personal reasons can have a strong impact as well. Among 24 percent opined that work environment, office layout, pay benefits, recognition at work may help employees feel connected, in control, relaxed and focused.
