Recognition is most important element at workplace compared to perks and benefits. Nearly 37 percent of the workforce feels it is the most effective way to motivate workforce to produce great work. The survey has been conducted from more than 8.5 million recognition moments, along with third party research. The report mentioned that recognition is most important fact for all generations; younger employees also value pay (7 per cent) while older employees want autonomy (12 per cent). Employees between the age group of 25-35 years old want first and foremost to be recognized for their work. Employees aged between 35-44 years feel pay raise plays great role in productivity improvement. It is also found that leaders, co workers, friends and family have an opportunity to include comments and photos create personalized experience.
