Monarch to cut up to 1,000 jobs

Monarch airlines are located at Luton airport and runs flights to various destinations across the world. This is a private company controlled by Swiss-Italian Mantegazza is planning to cut 1,000 jobs to reposition it as a low-cost airline competing with easyJet and Ryanair.
