India’s largest job creator, IT sector is get to slowing down in FY2016 as per the industry body Naascom. Naascom estimated that IT sector to create 13% less job in FY 2016 over FY2015 with the more demand for new technologies and new roles. The demand will be more for the skilled professionals of artificial intelligence and cloud skills. IT industry is adapting automation to perform lower level jobs so it may be difficult to find jobs for fresh graduates. “The industry is taking steps to decouple revenue from headcount growth with more automation and platform-based revenue growth,” R Chandrasekaran, chairman of Nasscom said.
