India’s outsourcing sector is suffering from shortage of skilled engineers to tap high-end outsourcing opportunities such as mobile apps and cloud computing. The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) also forecasted a revenue growth of 12-14% for this financial year. Digital technology, mobile apps and cloud computing will be the most promising services for the outsourcing industry as per NASSCOM. India’s IT services companies like TCS and Infosys have been offering infrastructure management and application development services to the US and Europe markets. Due to the increased competition and price competition for routine services, many of them are now delivered through artificial intelligence and automation.
