According to the recent study, India Inc is expected to hire more with the average salary hike across industries and functional areas. The study mentioned that Indian job market is showing maturity and industries are getting smarter in rewarding top talent. However, only 42 percent of profiles will see significant hike and increments for the year 2016-17. The average salary hike is expected to be between 11-13 percent across industries and functional areas. There is an average salary hike of 11 percent is expected to see among the sectors such as information technology, agriculture and agrochemicals, FMCG, FMCD, healthcare and pharma, hospitality, retail and telecommunications. City wise analysis reveals that Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai saw high increments for this year.
