IBM TO CUT 15000 JOBS

International giant IBM has planning to cut 15000 jobs globally and it will start it cutting from Bangalore itself. The estimate of jobs cut globally is 15,000,” International Coordinator at the Alliance@IBM (official IBM employees union) Lee Conrad says. The company is restructuring its programs in quatert1 2014 because of sales decline of servers and storages. They have not mentioned the exact cuts for each geographical area but the impact could be great on India as it have more than one lakh employees in India centers. At present IBM have 4 lakh employees globally.
