IBM starts new data center in India


IBM is investing nearly $1.2 billion to start 15 new data centers in various continents of the globe to give expansion to cloud computing and grab new clients and pitch of the market. The new cloud centers have been planned to set up in Washington DC, Mexico City, Dallas, China, Hong Kong, London, Japan, India and Canada, Middle East and Africa by the year 2015. IBM is planning to increase it data centers to 40 by the end of this year and double cloud capacity and planning new strategies to increase its global aloud market with$200 billion by 2020.
