Newyork based tech company IBM is spending $150 million to hire the contract workforce hiring in India and it is considers that it is the biggest spending in IT world. The other IT giants like Accenture, Microsoft and Cisco are spending $80 million and Cognizant, Oracle and HCL Technologies are spending $50 million on contract hiring process. IBM is planning to hire 1.5 lakh candidates in India by reducing the staff in US and increasing in India. “IBM’s spend on contract staffing in India is smart given the talent base in India, and despite the rising cost structure. In the war for talent, skilled resources are needed across the world. India happens to have great depth for technology resources says a staffing firm executive.
