Indian e-commerce industry is witnessing growth in the year 2015 by pumping billions of investments. There is more scope for expansion and industry is looking for different roles like user interface developers, e-commerce merchandising specialists, interaction designers and digital marketers. E-commerce industry is estimated to grow 70 percent by generating $6 billion revenue in 2015. Below are the key positions which an e-commerce industry is looking to hire more positions.

Interaction designers: There is much demand for interaction designers in e commerce industry as they need to visualize the consumer’s journey through web site or apps with proper estimation of user scenarios. Interactive designer’s role includes track content consumption, transaction and CRM data and expects user experiences with conceptual skills and visualization.

Digital marketers: Make users to reach the site through proper communication channels and attractive campaigning which is done by digital marketers. Candidates who are able to deliver conceptualize content for marketing campaigns through different platforms like social, and mobile.

UI/UX developers: Building the code with without technical issues with consistent user experience are the key drivers of e-commerce business. A minor technical issue while processing the buying will demotivate the users to access their mobile app or website. Jabong HR head says that they are looking to hire UI developers with 2-5 years of experience and who have the ability to build, test and design e-commerce properties which match global standards.

E-com market specialists: This role includes analysis of daily selling and promotion of e commerce site offers as per their market strategies. They follow strategies to attract the different verticals of new customers by placing different products on the website.
