Here's the hiring outlook across the industries

Industry wise Y-OY trends:

Hiring in Production and Manufacturing saw upward and the sector continues exhibits notable growth from the year-ago level. Online recruitment in the sector has increased by a significant 54 percent as compared to May 2014 and May 2015.
IT – Hardware, Software industries saw 49 percent growth in online opportunities in April 2015. Banking/ Financial Services, Insurance (up 46 percent); Telecom/ISP (up 43 percent); Retail (up 41 percent); and BPO/ITES (up 34percent) were among the top recruiting sectors Y-O-Y.
Education (up 4 percent); Garments/ Textiles/ Leather, Gems & Jeweler up 2percent); and Real Estate (up 2 percent) saw negative growth since October 2014.
Healthcare, Bio Technology & Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals (up 18 percent) registered the first double digit annual growth rate since January 2015.
Shipping/Marine saw dip in hiring among all industry sectors in April 2015 to May 2015.

Role wise Y-O-Y trend:

Demand for Arts/Creative professionals recorded positive growth with 57 percent increase in opportunities from May 2014 ,online demand for the group remained constant at April 2015 level.
Health Care professionals saw an increased online demand. A 14percent y-o-y with 45 percent growth in the last six months.
Software, Hardware, Telecom (up 36 percent); Sales & Business Development (up 33 percent); and Finance & Accounts (up 28 percent) are the top in-demand occupational groups with great opportunities.
Purchase/ Logistics/ Supply Chain personnel saw online demand exceed the year ago level by six percent following a 13 percent dip in April 2015.

City wise Y-O-Y Trends

Tier II cities on top in jobs creation. Baroda (up 41 percent) followed by Coimbatore (up 38 percent) registered the steepest growth in online recruitment Y-O-Y.
Among major cities, Bangalore (up 30 percent) is on top in jobs in IT – Hardware, Software; Banking/ Financial Services, Insurance; Production and Manufacturing; and BPO/ITES sector.
Delhi-NCR (up 23 percent); Mumbai (up 26 percent); Hyderabad (up 24 percent) saw maximum annual growth in hiring.
Chandigarh (up 17 percent) also witnessed steep growth in hiring among all monitored cities even this month.
