Over 33% surveyed employers mentioned that campus recruitment saves helps in cutting down expenditure and time involved in adverting, screening and selecting a candidate for an available job position. Campus placements are designed to identify young, qualified talent from the educational institutions prior to completion of their studies. The overall process reduces the time involved in hiring process. Moreover 30 percent of organizations find it as a brand promotional tool as well as helps to build a strong campus brand and engage with students and faculty on periodic basis increases their recall value.

The changing business needs demands organizations to recruit from campuses and train them as per the changing business models. Experts opined that pre-placement sessions provides a chance to the companies what exactly they need from a fresh college pass-out, what would be the job profiles, the career path and salaries among other relevant issues.
