Google building next data center at Alabama power plant site

Google is building a next data center by converting an old coal-burning power plant in Alabama into a sleek data center running on renewable energy to fuel the additional computing capacity needed to process Internet search requests, show digital video, give directions, deliver email and store photos. This will be the 14th data center in the world with $600 million project and it was estimated to create about 100 new jobs. The data center is works on renewable energy and minimizes the pollution created through running of servers.
