Global IT spending to cross $3.6 trillion in 2016

A recent study by research and advisory company Gartner found that worldwide information technology spending is forecast to surpass $3.6 trillion in 2016 — a 1.5% increase from 2015. Gartner is expecting that Internet of Things (IoT) hardware will exceed $2.5 million every minute in 2016. It is also predicted that in five years, one million new devices will come online every hour with digital business.
