The rise in demand for public sector bank jobs tightens the hiring process, IBPS added the nodal selection body to eliminate not-so-serious candidates and prevent impersonation. IBPS added a third layer to hiring process in addition to the written test and interview which will eliminate non-serious candidates. The score of preliminary exam will not be carried forward. Nearly 55000 candidates who are looking for banking jobs need to go through the three layer hiring process this year. Nearly 14 lakh applications received last year for 16000 vacancies for probationary office posts in state run banks excluding state bank of India.
