Genpact welcomes female employees who wish to join at work at Genpact post a maternity break can choose shift timings that are comfortable for them. This initiation is made by Genpact to bring women back to the workplace. The other thing is that to offer returning mothers shift timings of their choice. This new policy is implemented to bring back woman employees who left after they had babies. Genpact has 70,000 employees globally, out of which 45,000 work in India. Women constitute about 40 per cent of the workforce. It is also noted that, about 400-500 women take maternity leave in the organization annually. To encourage the returning moms the company is offering flexi-work, subsidised daycare for employees’ children and stork parking to enjoy the motherhood with having a meaningful career.
