Flipkart set to give business lessons to rural youth

Banglore based e-commerce company flipkart has been created courses of two weeks to four months in areas like photography , cataloguing, social media marketing and handling customer communications. Flipkart, which has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), is aiming to train at least 5,000 students by December. The designed courses will be given training in different locations of PAN India like Agra, Meerut, Varanasi, Aurangabad, Pochampalli, Salem, Guwahati and Shillong. It has collaborated with Federation of Indian Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises and National Centre to train up the traditional artisans.
