Recent study found that, employees who feel fairly treated at workplace are more likely to be healthy, have an active lifestyle and go the extra mile for their organization. Employees experiences at work impact their health and other things like rewards, pay, promotion and assignments, are also related to employees’ health. Employees who experience more fairness at work are reported better health. The study mentioned that, changes in employees’ health are related to changes in fairness perceptions. The researchers suggested that the findings can help raise awareness among employers and authorities that fairness at work but also health is important to consider increasing satisfaction, well-being and productivity in the workplace and wider society.
