Ericsson to Hire 82 Engineers for Bengaluru R&D Centre

Swedish based telecom equipment maker, Ericsson looking to increase its engineering employees at Bangalore based R&D center by 15% this financial year. At present Bangalore team has 550 engineers focusing on Cloud & IP technologies. Ericsson will be hiring in the areas of Cloud, IP Routing, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and Virtual Platforms. Currently it has the employee strength of 1700 across its three R&D centers in Gurgaon, Chennai and Bengaluru. It was claimed that the India R&D team is developing technologies in the areas of cloud, management and operations of emerging networks for 5G and the Networked Society for India as well as for global markets
