A recent survey mentioned that nearly 60 percent of the employees prefer young boss over an older, more experienced one. The survey was based on the inputs of 600 employees across companies. Nearly 65 percent of the employees participated in the survey prefer a young boss (25-40 years) and 35 percent of the respondents prefer a senior professional (40-70 years) as boss. Sector wise analysis revealed that 75 percent of employees from IT sector prefer young boss and 63 percent of the NON-IT employees prefer young boss. Experience wise nearly 60 percent entry level professionals prefer young bosses followed by 80 percent senior professionals prefer old bosses and 80 percent female employees prefer young bosses. The reasons mentioned to prefer young bosses are as they understanding, practical and fun oriented.
