Emirates group is adding 11,000 employees to its current workforce as part of its expansion plans. The hiring process will increase its manpower strength by 6%, and the additional staff will be assigned in dnata, which provides aviation and travel services in 90 cities across 38 countries. 50 percent of the new recruits will work as cabin crew and remaining employees other positions like engineering, airport services and corporate functions. Last year, the Emirates recruitment drive advertised 2000 job positions and received half a million online applications from 227 countries. Emirates added at least 27 planes to its fleet, including 13 Airbus A380s and 12 Boeing 777-300ERs in the past year.
