Chennai reported 10% growth in hiring activities

Recent survey mentioned that, healthcare sector saw 12.5% raise while logistics and travel & hospitality sectors saw 11.5% rise in hiring activities. Talent demand increased during February 2016 as key sectors such as healthcare, logistics, IT/telecom, travel & hospitality and retail saw significant demand for top talent. Professionals such as Entertainment/media/journalism professionals and doctors/nurses/medical reported the highest rise in demand during February 2016. Other professionals such as administration and hospitality professionals too reported significant rise in demand during March 2016. Among locations, Chandigarh saw the maximum growth in talent demand. Among metros, Chennai saw the maximum rise in hiring activity, followed by Mumbai. Hiring was up for the professionals with over 20 years of experience. Candidates with 5-10 years experience saw huge demand during March 2016.
