Apple opens its first development centre in India in Hyderabad

The iPhone maker Apple Inc. opened its first development centre in India in Hyderabad, which will work on Apple Maps, the company’s digital maps and navigation service. The centre will facilitate 4000 employment opportunities to the suitable candidates. Apple is partnering with Noida-based RMSI Pvt. Ltd., an authorized reseller of Google Earth Enterprise and Google Maps, which provides geospatial and software services for the Apple Maps project. Majority of the workforce will be employed by RMSI Pvt. Ltd. Apple is focused on making the best products and services in the world and we are thrilled to open this new office in Hyderabad which will focus on Maps development, Cook said in a statement. Cook mentioned that across India, Apple supports over 640,000 iOS app developer jobs and other positions related to the iOS ecosystem.
