Story of Enlightenment of Anna Hazare; now the second Gandhiji of India Swami Vivekananda driving Anna Hazare

Every man great or small cannot manage life without a single mistake. But the man who can accept and rectify the mistakes is a Hero. In this story the Hero is our Annaji.

Once Anna Hazare wanted to end his life, when he was very young both in age and maturity of thoughts. So, he went to a railway station. That particular day due to some reason there were no trains coming in the station. Anna waited for long long time for the trains, to commit suicide. But, in vain. At last he got bored and went to a book store to purchase a book. This one and only one book on Swami Vivekananda changed his entire life.

After reading the book of Swami Vivekananda, Hazareji got inspired and motivated and he strongly decided not to die and serve people like Swamiji.Later he worked in army as a brave soldier of India, He became a one man army in building a self-sustained dream village of India.

Now he is fighting a second freedom struggle, to make India a corruption free land, a land of brother hood, a land of rich heritage, culture, values and beliefs. There is momentum in the whole country; the youth of India and the big seats of India are shaken.

Now every Indian is singing the old version of song “Hum iss desh ke vasi hai, jis desh me Ganga behte hai” as “Hum iss desh ke vasi hai, jis desh me Anna rehte hai”.From this we can clearly see that “A man with big thoughts can do great things than a man with big money”.

Let every Indian learn from him the strong will power, the high patriotism, fighting for a good cause which would save the country. Let us all support Annaji and make “mission Anna” a successful one.

Anna Hazare Second Independence Struggle

Idea is powerful enough to lay the ideal foundation of the most significant development in the world. A simple step can pave the surest way to success and prosperity. A single voice can be heard loud enough to go beyond the skies. A common man can change the identity and future of a nation. Yes, we are living in the age where impossible can made possible with strong determination, vision and action.

What is Hazare’s Second Freedom Struggle all about?

Forcing the government, to pass Jan Lokpal Bill, the amendment of a law to curb corruption.

Understand about Jan Lokpal Bill

The Jan Lokpal Bill ;is a draft anti-corruption bill drawn up by prominent civil society activists seeking the appointment of a Jan Lokpal, an independent body that would investigate corruption cases, complete the investigation within a year and envisages trial in the case getting over in the next one year.

The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill) that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge; say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, which has been going for last 25 years without any result?

Past History of Jan Lokpal Bill

Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) while recommending the constitution of Lokpal was convinced that such an institution was justified not only for removing the sense of injustice from the minds of adversely affected citizens but also necessary to instill public confidence in the efficiency of administrative machinery. Following this, the Lokpal Bill was for the first time presented during the fourth Lok Sabha in 1968, and was passed there in 1969.

After 42 years the Lokpal bill is still pending in India. The first Lokpal Bill was passed in the 4th Lok Sabha in 1969 but could not get through in Rajya Sabha, subsequently, Lokpal bills were introduced in 1971, 1977, 1985, 1989, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2005 and most recently in 2008, yet they were never passed and it’s pending.

Some government spokes persons say that it is not possible to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill with in short span of time by Aug 30th,2011;because every clause should be gone through thoroughly, followed by a series of discussions by the government committees and lot of amendments have to be made before the bill is finally passed. Some people say that this bill hampers democracy. Let us wait and see what will be the government’s course of action and fate of our country.
