The demand for cyber professionals is increasing India and many students are pursuing courses to fill the gaps with cyber security training ecosystem. Experts opined that there are some issues like poor infrastructure and awareness in the education sector, inadequate supply of qualified trainers and businesses not investing enough in security are just some of the issues the sector faces. There is also a need of specialized courses to upgrade the skills of cyber security professionals to meet the needs of the industry. “The estimate is that we have just about 50,000; we need at least one million skilled people by 2020,” said Nasscom president. Companies are looking for the candidates with ME or MTech in Information Security, or an individual with leading industry recognized certifications like CISSP.
